Terms of Use

These terms cover bytebacknj.com and its store. By using the site or buying from it, you agree to them. Each app also has its own terms: ByteBack Live and Mirage.

Who you're dealing with

ByteBack is run by an independent developer in New Jersey, USA. Purchases are sold through Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the reseller and merchant of record, so Lemon Squeezy's buyer terms also apply when you check out.

What's sold here

Live wallpapers, widgets, ringtones, Android apps and Windows programs, delivered as digital downloads, plus free downloads and computer repair services. Each product lists what it runs on. Check those requirements before you buy.

Your license

Buying a product gives you a personal, non-transferable license to use it on your own devices. You may not resell, share, re-upload or redistribute it. Live wallpapers are also covered by the Wallpaper license, and apps by their own license agreements.

Payments and refunds

Prices are shown at checkout, including any tax Lemon Squeezy adds for where you live. Because downloads can't be returned, sales are final, with the exceptions in the Refunds policy: broken downloads get fixed or replaced, and billing mistakes get refunded.

Accounts

An account is optional. If you make one, keep your sign-in secure and tell me if you think someone else is using it. I can suspend accounts used for fraud or abuse. You can delete yours at any time; see the Privacy Policy.

Repair services

Repair work is quoted and agreed with you before it starts. Back up your data first. I take care with your device, but I'm not responsible for data that was already lost or damaged, or for problems that existed before the repair.

Acceptable use

Don't use this site or anything bought here for anything illegal. Don't try to break, overload or get around the site's security, copy the store's files, or use bots to scrape it.

Ownership

The site, its designs, wallpapers, apps, programs and the ByteBack name belong to ByteBack. These terms don't give you any rights to them beyond the license above.

No warranty

Everything here is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. The site may change, pause or go offline at times.

Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, ByteBack isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses from using the site or its products, and its total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid for the product involved. Nothing here limits rights you have under the consumer laws where you live.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts of New Jersey, unless the consumer laws where you live give you the right to use your local courts.

Changes

If these terms change, the date at the top changes too. Purchases are covered by the terms in place when you bought.
